# Delete a campaign

Delete an existing campaign. The campaign row is archived, and its folder associations, any pending approval request and any queued automation sends are removed as well. Campaigns that reference this campaign as their source are deleted too.

This endpoint reports failures in the response body rather than with an error status: a campaign that does not exist, or a user without permission to delete campaigns, both return `200` with `succeeded` set to `0`.
