Ends a contact's run through an automation. status is the only writable field. Sending completed: true also cancels any wait the contact is scheduled for in that automation and records the end as cancelled through the API; send it together with status: 2. PATCH /contactAutomations/{id} is also accepted and does the same, with the same body and responses.
